mweaAssila (mweqin arabo أصيلة‎?, Aṣīla; in mwegberbero: ⴰⵥⵉⵍⴰ, mwewAẓila; in mwfaportoghese: mwfqArzila) è una città del mwfgMarocco, nella mwfwprefettura di Tangeri-Assila, nella regione di mwgaTangeri-Tetouan-Al Hoceima.

La città è anche conosciuta come mwggAssilah, mwgwAşīlah, mwhaAsilah, mwhqArzila.

Storia

Assila fu conquistata nel mwiq1471 dai mwigportoghesi, i quali la tennero fino al mwiw1550, anno in cui, a causa della crisi economica, dovettero abbandonarla. Dal mwja1912 al mwjq1956 fece parte del mwjgMarocco spagnolo.
